Do you offer insurance receipts?

Yes, I can provide you with receipts at each treatment, or at any other interval you prefer.  Most clients prefer a monthly/bi monthly receipt.

Are you registered?

Yes I am registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.

How much space do you need to set up your table?

Approximately 10 feet by 6 feet.  I have set up the table in dens, living rooms, bedrooms, and basements.

Can you bring your table up stairs?

Yes.

What payment methods do you accept?

Cash or cheque

What should I expect at my first treatment?

I will show up approximately 10-15 minutes before your appointment, while I set up I will provide you with a health history form to complete.  Afterward I will go over your health history with you, conduct an assessment, and then start the treatment.

What does an assessment compose of?

An assessment can range from questions, to postural assessment, range of motion, and/or orthopaedic tests depending on your reasons for the massage.  If you are looking for a relaxation massage, usually a few questions about your stress management techniques.  If you have a sports injury, usually range of motion and orthopaedic tests.  Assessment is nothing to be frightened of, it usually only takes a few minutes and feel free to ask questions.

When does my appointment time start?

You're appointment time starts after I have set up my table.  Assessment is considered part of your appointment time.  The time required to set up and take down the table is not considered part of your appointment plan

How long does it take for you to set up/take down your table?

On average it takes 5-10 minutes for set up and take down.

I have animals, are you afraid/allergic to them?

No I love animals and I don't have any allergies of animals.

Do you require any help or items from me?

I can perfectly manage all my equipment myself.  I bring along everything necessary for your massage.  All that I may ask of you is to help by holding a door open for me, or keeping animals from underfoot.  If you would like music for your massage you will have to provide it, but please feel free to have a cd player, mp3, TV (Rogers has a number of music channels in the 700's, like "The Spa" or "Classic Masters" that you might enjoy).  If you let me know ahead of time, I have a number of relaxation cd's that I can bring along.  Other than that all I require is access to a washroom (or sometimes a sink will do) to wash my hands before and after the massage.
